How it’s played

The classic team format: everyone plays their own ball the whole way, and on each hole the best score (or best N, if you count more than one) among the teammates counts as the team score. Lowest team total wins. It plays fast and lets a bad hole disappear — your partner just has to cover you.

Played net by default: each player gets their handicap strokes where the stroke index says, and the best net ball counts. The USGA-recommended allowance for the team size is auto-filled (85% for 2-man one-ball) and stays editable. Team size is chosen with the 2v2 / 3v3 / 4v4 chip when you create the game; teams are assigned by hand or with the Randomize shortcut.

Ties. Level for a paid place, the Commish's tie-break decides it. Split (the default) pools the tied places and shares them evenly. Push voids the tied places: nobody collects them, and their shares go back to everyone who put in — a tie across two paid places voids both. USGA card match compares the tied scores over the last 9, then the last 6, 3 and 1 holes. App coin toss (Low Net and the team formats) is flipped in the app by the Commish, the scorekeeper or a group admin, and records who won, so the result is the same on every screen and when payouts are finished; until it is flipped the place splits.
