How the app works, what each feature is for, and the rules of every game you can add to a round.
Using the app
- Groups and invitationsA group is the people you play with regularly. Invite them by email, and they accept in the app.
- Starting a roundThree ways in: a round on your own, a quick game with friends, or a scheduled group round with RSVPs.
- Joining with a code, and guest playersJoin a round with a six-character game code, and play with people who have no account — they can claim their spot later.
- Scoring liveEveryone scores from their own phone and the leaderboard updates as the scores go in — or one person keeps score for the group.
- Confirming and finalizing a roundThree steps: you confirm your card, your group confirms its cards, and the Commish confirms the round.
- Adding games and setting the moneyRun several games on one round, all scored from the same scores, each with its own holes and its own money.
- Side games during a roundQuick side games added during the round — Closest to the Pin, Next Birdie Wins and Longest Drive.
- Settling upWhen the round is final, the app works out who owes whom across every game. It never moves money itself.
- HandicapsThe app keeps its own World Handicap System index from your rounds, and groups can run their own handicaps too.
- StatsPutts, fairways, greens in regulation and penalties, recorded as you play and broken down on your profile.
- Cup ModeA Ryder Cup–style team event: two teams, sessions of four-ball, foursomes and singles, and net match play. Set up by the Cup’s organiser.
- SeasonsSeason-long points and standings for a group, across every finalized game in a date range.
