How it’s played
Best ball where the pressure builds: the number of balls that count for the team grows as the round progresses. The default schedule counts 1 ball on holes 1–6, 2 balls on 7–11, 3 balls on 12–16, and all 4 on 17–18 — by the finish, everyone's score matters and there is nowhere to hide.
The segment editor lets you fully customize the schedule (a repeating 1-2-3 pattern, six-hole thirds, whatever your group plays). Scoring within a segment is standard best ball: the best N net balls per hole sum into the team total, lowest total wins. Net by default with an 85% suggested allowance; uncheck handicap strokes for gross.
Ties. Level for a paid place, the Commish's tie-break decides it. Split (the default) pools the tied places and shares them evenly. Push voids the tied places: nobody collects them, and their shares go back to everyone who put in — a tie across two paid places voids both. USGA card match compares the tied scores over the last 9, then the last 6, 3 and 1 holes. App coin toss (Low Net and the team formats) is flipped in the app by the Commish, the scorekeeper or a group admin, and records who won, so the result is the same on every screen and when payouts are finished; until it is flipped the place splits.
