Adding a game
The Commish adds games from the round’s Games page: choose a game, set its options and its money, and pick the teams if it is a team game. Every game’s rules are in the help center, and the Add Game form links to them with “How to play”.
Several games at once
A round can carry as many games as you like — Skins, a Nassau and a team game at once — and every one of them is scored from the same set of scores. Nobody enters anything twice.
More than one team game is fine too, as long as one game’s teams do not split partners from another. When a round already has a team game, the app reminds you to keep partners together.
Which holes
Each game covers All 18, the Front 9 or the Back 9, so a nine-hole side game can sit alongside an 18-hole one. A few games need the full round — Nassau, Sixes and MP Special among them — and only offer All 18.
The money
Each game’s money is set on the same screen. Most games take an amount per player, and a game that pays places also sets how many places are paid and how the total is split. Bingo Bango Bongo, Scotch and MP Special take a value per point instead, and settle player against player.
When a player is added to a round that already has games, Round Setup shows what that does to each game’s total before you confirm it.
Remembered setups
Add a game your group has played before and the form starts from the group’s last setup — or, in a new group, from yours — and says so. Change anything; what you save becomes the new starting point.
Changing a game
The Commish can Edit a game while the round is being played. Once the round is complete, or the game is finalized, it can no longer be changed.
