Settling up

When the round is final, the app works out who owes whom across every game. It never moves money itself.

Who pays whom

Once the Commish confirms the round, its results page shows a Settlement: a short list of who pays whom, and how much, covering every game on the round.

Instead of a payment for every game, each player’s winnings and losses are netted first, so you get a few payments rather than a pile of them. Games the whole field played settle across the field; a game one group played on its own settles within that group. The list is simplified, but it is not guaranteed to be the fewest payments possible.

The app never moves money

Back 9 Bookie works out the amounts. It does not take payments, hold money or send it anywhere — you pay each other however your group usually does.

Side games are separate

Side games played during a round are not part of the settlement. They appear in the Money table on the round’s Leaderboard page.

Game history

Game history adds up your money across finalized games: what you put in, what you paid, what you won, and your net, broken down by type of game. Side games are not included there either.
