Confirming and finalizing a round

Three steps: you confirm your card, your group confirms its cards, and the Commish confirms the round.

The three steps

Confirming is how a round is signed off, so nobody is surprised by the result.

  • You check your own card and tap “Confirm my card”.
  • Your group’s scorer, or the Commish, taps “Confirm foursome” to sign off the group’s cards together.
  • The Commish taps “Confirm round — final”. That locks every card, confirms any card still open, and posts the round.

Missing holes

The round cannot be confirmed while someone is missing a hole. Finish every card, or pick up on the hole. If a card really cannot be finished, the Commish can choose “Confirm anyway — cards incomplete”.

Changing a score afterwards

A confirmed card is locked; tap “Unlock to edit” to change it. Once the round is final, the Commish can Reopen it. A reopened round drops out of stats and settlement until it is confirmed again, and its scores can be edited straight away.

What finalizing does

A final round posts to everyone’s stats, feeds handicaps (complete 18-hole cards; a picked-up hole counts at its maximum score), and works out who owes whom across the round’s games.
