How it’s played
The tournament staple: everyone on the team hits, the team picks the best shot, everyone plays their next shot from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed. One score per team per hole; lowest team total wins. In this app the scorer enters the team score once on any teammate's row and it mirrors to the whole team automatically.
Scrambles are gross by default. Turning on the team handicap deducts a USGA team allowance from the total — 35/15% of course handicaps for 2-man, 30/20/10% for 3-man, 25/20/15/10% for 4-man (lowest handicap first).
Drive tracking (optional) records whose tee shot the team used on each hole and flags anyone under the configured minimum (default 2). It flags rather than blocks — enforcement stays with the group.
Ties. Level for a paid place, the Commish's tie-break decides it. Split (the default) pools the tied places and shares them evenly. Push voids the tied places: nobody collects them, and their shares go back to everyone who put in — a tie across two paid places voids both. USGA card match compares the tied scores over the last 9, then the last 6, 3 and 1 holes. App coin toss (Low Net and the team formats) is flipped in the app by the Commish, the scorekeeper or a group admin, and records who won, so the result is the same on every screen and when payouts are finished; until it is flipped the place splits.
